ENERAL DESCRIPTION Yarnor Syngear Y-70 Series synthetic gear lubr=
icants are formulate=
d using synthesized hydrocarbon fluid and select additives to enhance ox=
idation resistance and provide maximum protection against we=
ar, rust, corrosion and foaming. These PAO based fluids provide s=
ignificantly better thermal and oxidation stability, as well as increased=
protection against the loss of viscosity than do conventional good qual=
ity mineral oils. The inherently high viscosity index of these oils provide=
s higher viscosities and therefore greater film thickness at higher tem=
peratures and lower viscosities for easy start-up and minimal intern=
al friction at lower temperatures. The low coefficient of friction o=
f the Yarnor Syngear Y-70 Series <=
/span>lubricant=
s substantiall=
y reduces power consumption and gearbox operating temperature, further=
prolonging the useful life of the lubricant. APPLICATION Yarnor Syngear Y-70 Series <=
/span>lubricants are recommended for use u=
nder severe high or low temperature conditions when lubricating industria=
l enclosed gears and heavily loaded plain or rolling element bearings. They=
are particularly recommended for applications where high oil temperatures result i=
n short oil life or high maintenance costs. Yarnor Syngear Y-7032 through Syngear Y-71000 are also recommended for use in application=
s where the corrosion of yellow metals is a conc=
ern, as these lubricants do not contain additives which tend to attack me=
tals such as brass, bronze or copper. &=
nbsp; The Yarnor S=
yngear Y-70 Series lubricants are compatible with=
essentially all seal materials=
, plastics and paints, including nitrile Buna N, neoprene, viton, teflon, p=
olyethylene, polyurethane ether, fluorocarbon, polyacrylate, polysulfa=
te, ethylene acrylic, epoxy, plastisol, PVC, acrylic paint and lacquer. |
